Free Seminar: Exploring Careers in Acupuncture

Please join us on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 6:30-8:30pm to learn about the wide range of rewarding career options available to licensed acupuncturists. We will have presentations by successful, experienced acupuncturists who have chosen different ways of approaching their practices and careers. You can have the career you have dreamed of. Isaac Goren, B.S., M.Ac., A.P. (FL), received a B.A. in Business Administration from Nova University. He received his Licentiate in Acupuncture from Worsley Institute for Classical Acupuncture (1997) and an M.Ac. from Academy for Five Element Acupuncture (2001), along with a Master of Medical Qigong. Isaac owns a private practice in Hollywood, FL.
Michael Kowalski, B.Ac., is an acupuncturist in private practice in Jacksonville, Florida. He is also Founder/Director of the 5 Element Institute of Jacksonville, which provides continuing education courses for physicians, nurses, and acupuncturists. His interest lies in building an inter-professional bridge between the acupuncture profession and biomedicine through research, treatment, and educational programs rooted in the tradition of Five Element acupuncture. His objective is to encourage collaborative and integrative clinical practices that enhance the patient experience, improve health outcomes, and lower healthcare costs. He has been an acupuncture educator for more than 30 years.
Melissa Maki, B.A., M.Ac. (NY), earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1994. Her first Master’s degree came from Syracuse University, NY in Marriage & Family Therapy in 1998. She received a second Master’s degree from Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in September 2012. She also received a Certificate in Chinese Herbal Studies in July 2013. Melissa has a private practice in Willsboro, NY.
Valerie Razutis, DAOM, L.Ac. (CA), earned her MSOM from Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine College, Berkeley, and her DAOM from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Prior to her career in AOM, Valerie worked as a Critical Care Paramedic in California for twenty years. She is currently working on a Doctor of Education from University of St. Augustine and is writing a book on medical ethics. She maintains a consultation-based private practice for licensed acupuncturists and Western medical practitioners.
