Free Seminar: Exploring Careers in Acupuncture

Interested in becoming an acupuncturist? Unsure of your path after graduation? Please join us on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 5:30-7pm to learn about the wide range of rewarding career options available to licensed acupuncturists. We will have presentations by successful, experienced acupuncturists who have chosen different ways of approaching their practices and careers. You can have the career you have dreamed of. Ruby Bienert, B.A., M.S., M.Ac., A.P. (FL), holds a B.A. degree in Botany and a M.S. in Agriculture from University of Florida. She received her M.Ac. degree from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (2003). Ruby is the Clinic Director for the Academy and has a private practice in Gainesville, FL.
Michael Kowalski, B.A., L.Ac., B.Ac., A.P. (FL), earned his B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Yale University. He received his B.Ac. (1984) and L.Ac. (1987) from College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, UK. Michael maintains a private practice in Jacksonville, FL.
Melissa Maki, B.A., M.Ac. (NY), earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1994. Her first Master’s degree came from Syracuse University, NY in Marriage & Family Therapy in 1998. She received a second Master’s degree from Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in September 2012. She also received a Certificate in Chinese Herbal Studies in July 2013. Melissa has a private practice in Willsboro, NY.
