Thank you all for making me feel so welcome these past weeks as I join the team at Academy for Five Element Acupuncture as Executive Director. Many thanks go to the Governing Board and to Rebekah Johnson, for their proactivity and support. We are doing our best to ensure this transition flows smoothly.

Thanks to Rebekah’s leadership, we have efficient work processes in place to support the mission and vision of the Academy. Building on that basis, I will be concentrating on creating new networks and helping to illuminate our uniqueness to our community, and to our alumni and students, while upholding the E.D. role to keep our school at its best. My driving force is to support the staff, faculty and students so they are free to do the work, free from burdens that might distract us from our mission and vision or from the wonderful healing medicine of Five Element acupuncture we represent.

I feel truly honored to join the team at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture as Executive Director. This institution represents an enduring medicine of iconic stature; timeless and revered. Together, weare dedicated to providing exceptional holistic care to those in need and to restoring a preventative balance to healthcare in our society.Alongside the faculty, staff and students at the Academy we lovingly call “AFEA”, I find great tranquility in knowing we are contributing to something truly exceptional, making a meaningful impact, and giving us the profound satisfaction of knowing our time here on earth is well-spent and purposeful.
