My name is Angie Mordecai (Class 34) and I have been teaching Practice Management at AFEA for the last 3 years. I reimagined the curriculum using the frameworks that have been most useful for me in navigating business and practice ownership. My course covers feminist theory, ecological network models, and polyvagal nervous system theory, among other things.

In January, I started facilitating a support group for recent graduates– monthly calls where each participant receives one-on-one time to brainstorm ideas and strategize business plans in a group container. Participants leave each session with action tasks to move their business/practice forward until the next call.

For the initial cohort, we kept enrollment closed to the students I had taught directly. I am launching a second cohort this spring and welcome all alumni seeking support in a group container. If you are interested, email angelicamordecai@gmail.com for more information and an application form.
