Laurie Monroe, Executive Coordinator
With over 40 years in the workplace, a variety of professional positions have dotted my career, from pumping gas and selling oil at a gas station for a year or two, to supporting multiple professionals in a wide variety of administrative roles, and running an IT department for 18 years. Along the way I’ve experienced a great deal of life lessons and growth. I have met amazing people and even more amazing animals and have welcomed many into my life; and while there are always challenges to face, I can honestly say that I do not regret any path I have taken, as every path has provided me with more tools to work with and lessons to have learned.
Being welcomed into this AFEA community seems fortuitous to me and I am looking forward to bringing my administrative skills to the position of Executive Coordinator. Please know I am reachable, approachable, and here to assist the school and its staff, faculty, and students, as much as I am able.
