December 8, 2024 1pm-5pm
This 4 hour online course has been designed specifically for Academy alumni who have graduated since the program moved to Gainesville. The focus is on updating our alumni so that they may benefit from the many changes in our clinic practice model that have been developed through the years. Our recent interns have learned a very different, and highly effective, model of Five Element acupuncture and we want to share this with our alumni.
This is the first of several courses which will present different components of the Academy’s current clinic model. The modules are useful separately, but taken as whole the entire series will provide an excellent and comprehensive update to the foundational skills learned during clinical residency.
At the conclusion of this class, participants will have sufficient knowledge of the Academy’s current treatment model to begin immediately incorporating new skills and concepts into their practice. Topics to be discussed in this class include:
- Description of current clinic model
- Treating CF and treating pathology
- Process of confirming CF
- The notion of CF struggles to inform CF treatment planning
- Excess vs deficiency in treatment planning
- Creating clinically effective treatment principles
- Use of P&T in diagnosing pathology
- and more!
