In this seminar, Angela Hicks will explore many important aspects of treating the spirit and how to deepen our spirit level treatments. Topics will include:
• Deepening our awareness and ability to recognize spirit problems
• ‘Qi and needle technique’ and needling to treat the spirit
• Gestures, posture and facial expression and the emotions and spirit
• Diagnosing and treating blocks to treating the spirit
• Choosing spirit points and a special way we can sense inside in order to decide on which points to use

Biography: Angela Hicks
Angela Hicks has been in practice since 1976. She is Joint Principal of the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, UK which she co-founded in 1993. The College integrates TCM and Five Element Acupuncture and offers a B.Sc. Honours degree in Acupuncture, which is validated by Kingston University. She originally trained at the College of Traditional Acupuncture in Leamington Spa, UK, and she taught and supervised there between 1979 and 87. She then went on to study TCM in 1987 and completed study at the Nanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1988. She is also a practitioner of Chinese Herbal Medicine and regularly practices qigong.[/one_half_last]
