Pulse diagnosis is a “Crown jewel” of Chinese medicine. Competency with the pulse is a significant part of the difference between symptomatic treatment and achieving a truly preventive level of care. It is as vital to cultivating a deep intuition in medical practice as it is to communicating with others what one is seeing and how one has arrived at any given diagnosis or treatment principle. The pulse is a vehicle for becoming the medicine through embodiment. This class will lay the foundation for a broad and deep appreciation of pulse diagnosis.
This will be Lonny Jarrett’s first live & in-person workshop since 2020.
Lonny Jarrett has been practicing Chinese Medicine in Western Massachusetts since 1986. He is a founding board member of the Ac. Soc. Of Mass. and a Fellow of the National Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Lonny is author of Nourishing Destiny: The Inner Tradition of Chinese Medicine, The Clinical Practice of Chinese Medicine, and Deepening Perspectives on Chinese Medicine. He holds a master’s degree in neurobiology and a fourth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Lonny apprenticed with Leon Hammer for 10 years and has taught pulse diagnosis since 1991. He was featured in the text, “The Great Work of Your Life: A Guide for the Journey to Your True Calling” by best selling author Stephen Cope.
